Long before Whistler became an international mountain destination, the surrounding mountains, rivers and forests were home to Indigenous Peoples whose histories, traditions and connections to the land continue today. The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre offers visitors an opportunity to learn about the distinct cultures of the Squamish Nation and Lil'wat Nation through art, exhibits, storytelling, guided tours and cultural experiences.
